Gentle, Evidence-based Massage Therapy
I am Rachel, and I have practiced massage therapy since 2006. With my years of experience, and continued education with The Mastectomy Guide, I have shifted my practice from the rigorous deep tissue forms of massage to the lighter side of healing involving the breast and chest tissue, and more. MG’s mission was to fill a gap in society regarding rehabilitation after breast and top surgery by educating and creating resources of massage therapists, and I’m proud to utilize my knowledge to help others in that regard.
I use appropriate, evidence-informed techniques for each stage of the healing journey. This form of massage uses a whole-person approach to healing, blending years of intuition and empathy to be a resource for those in need of care.
Who is gentle massage therapy for?
Literally Everyone!
You do not need to have gone through surgery to benefit from this type of care. Chronic aches and pains caused from tight chest tissue, or intercostal tissue can be experienced by anyone.
